Both books were used to reveal how people, nurses and doctors or any other workers, can be cruel to the patients at the mental institutions. In the first possible focus that fiction can be used to tell the truth is by understanding and reading into or about the events in a fiction invoice. For example, in the story One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest is colligate to Ten Days in a Mad House in the revealing way of how the patients are treated by the doctors and especially the nurses in the institutions. Both of the nurses were abusive and or each threatening. In One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Ratched was the call back and threatening nurse who would tell her brainsick patients that they would electroshock therapy if they didnt obey or if they were misbehaving.



In Ten Days in a Mad House the nurses would tease the patients, which would then perplex for the patients to go into their insane phases. Once they are in their insane phase the nurses would choke or hit them, pretty untold anything they could to make them be quiet. Acts of cruelty were both rendern. The nurses didnt show much kindness to any of the patients, and would claim that it is all just charity work that they do for the insane. Because of the similarities of the treatments, it can be revealing that the nurses just mistreat the insane patients just in oecumenic and dont treat them with the love are flush that they really do need.
