You never truly know anybody. E precise person has a privy life, even if its just their unavowed fantasies, and if you ever procure to see inside their head, sometimes you find things you never imagined were t here. How drop you be so close to some angiotensin-converting enzyme for so keen-sighted and still not know who they are? It is more car park than some of us want to believe. Its almost a certainty that, at some point, your loved ones will hide something eventful slightly themselves from you.
It is a good bet that most of us live at least three distinct lives - one that is for public display, another for those closest to us, and one that is for my eyes only.
The right to privacy, which is highly valued in our culture, is critical to upholding ones perceive of individuality and personal autonomy. Most of us exercise this mental right throughout our lives, maintaining a hidden cache of secret thoughts, fantasies and desires that we share with no one.
Even in most psychologic totall(a)yy and emotionally intimate bonds, it is not uncommon for people to harbor a few secrets. Even so, discovering that someone you feel such a connection with is holding back something croupe threaten the rightfulness of the bond. The experience of betrayal in a trusting affinity can be extremely powerful.
If it causes so much trouble oneself and troubles, then why do we keep aspects of ourselves concealed from all others? We learn actually early in our lives that we possess the psychological power to withhold parts of who we are, to create a backstairs inner life. At the same time, we begin making decisions about who to let into our private world and who to keep out.

I have been meaning to finish my essay about this - I didnt in truth realise it was refered to as blind spots. This a very interesting area to read about - I think there are more people than obvious who can relate to what is being talked about here. I certainly can.
I have been close to people and have discovered or atleast sensed they are hiding another part to them. hide certain parts of who they are/ if someone were to reveal their hidden sides it could almost seem like a split temperament or something. In most cases this other side to a person is in the form of their thoughts - like the author says here - its like unshared fantasies or ideas.
Anyway, great subject - I think its a bit short... I mean you could go very deep into this and explore links to how it affects people. But hey, I suppose I can write about all that in my essay, which I will be finishing very soon, hopefully.
